Oxy-hydrogen flame cutting is a new carbon steel cutting way. Oxy-hydrogen flame cutting are almost same with traditional fuel gas cutting in the operation. The biggest difference is the fuel gas used for cutting, oxy-hydrogen flame cutting use mixed hydrogen and oxygen gas as fuel, rather than traditional acetylene, propane, golden flame industrial gas, Terry gas and other gases.

 

In oxy-hydrogen flame cutting process, mixed hydrogen and oxygen gas don’t need store, producing while using. Therefore, traditional fuel gas cutting transformed into oxy-hydrogen flame cutting, just need to increase oxy-hydrogen generator.

 

Oxy-hydrogen gas has unique physical and chemical properties:

1．Small proportion: the density of hydrogen is the lowest in all gas, and therefore, hydrogen gas will not assemble, even if exist leakage; it will quickly escape to outdoors, so there will no risk of explosion.

2．High calorific value: the calorific value of hydrogen is high; the calorific value of per kg hydrogen gas is 34000 kcal, equivalent to three times calorific value of gasoline.

3．High temperature: the temperature of oxy-hydrogen flame up to 3200 degrees, and its is almost nearly with acetylene.

4．Fast combustion speed: the combustion speed of oxy-hydrogen gas was 11.2m / s, faster than any other gases, the benefits is easy ignition.

5．Concentrated fire: the flame of oxy-hydrogen gas is straight, no radiation heat loss, high thermal efficiency value.

6．Non-toxic: As we all know, hydrogen gas is non-toxic, no harm to the environment and the operator.

7．Environmental protection: oxy-hydrogen gas can be obtained by water electrolysis, and then burn to produce water, no emissions. It has no pollution to the environment during manufacture and using process. So oxy-hydrogen gas is a renewable green energy.
